Bine aţi venit pe pagina Fundaţiei Software-ului Liber Europa. FSF (acronimul din engleză al numelui fundaţiei) Europa o fost lansată pe data de 10 Martie 2001 şi susţine toate aspectele Software-ului Liber specifice Europei, în special Proiectul GNU. Susţinem activ dezvoltarea Software-ului liber şi sistemelor de operare bazate pe GNU, cum ar fi GNU/Linux. De asemenea furnizăm un centru de asistenţă pentru politicieni, avocaţi şi jurnalişti pentru a asigura viitorul Software-ului Liber pe plan legal, politic şi social.

Booth at "Freedom not Fear", Berlin, Germany 2008-10-11
On Saturday 11. October FSFE's Berlin Fellowship group will have a booth at the "Freedom not Fear" demonstration. The booth will be ready about 13:00 at the Neptunbrunnen, Berlin Alexanderplatz. 'Licensing questions and other legal issues' workshop in Zurich, Switzerland 2008-10-17
Shane Coughlan, Freedom Task Force coordinator at FSFE, will deliver a two day course entitled 'Free Software licenses and other questions' at the Digicomp Academy Zurich, Switzerland. The course is intended for project managers, developers and technicians who wish to become more knowledgeable regarding code distribution options.

Dinner in Geneva on the 19th October 2008-10-19
Benjamin Morant and Ciaran O'Riordan invite you to a FSFE meeting in Geneva on the Sunday 19th October on the evening. The plan is to meet each other in a restaurant at 17:00, then to go to a pub at 19:00. For the moment the place hasn't been chosen but don't hesitate to let us know if you want to come. FSCONS 2008, Gothenburg, Sweden 2008-10-24

For 2008, FSCONS is a collaboration of FSFE, Creative Commons, and Wikimedia Sweden. There will be three tracks (Free Culture, Free Software, Free Content), each lead by one of the main organisers. NLUUG Autumn Conference and CELF Embedded Linux Conference Europe, Ede, Netherlands 2008-11-06

The FSFE will be attending the NLUUG Autumn Conference on Thursday 6th November. This year's theme is 'mobility'. Feel free to come to our booth and ask about Free Software! Shane Coughlan, Freedom Task Force coordinator at FSFE, will also deliver talk entitled 'The strategic implementation of free software in business' at the CELF Embedded Linux Conference Europe 2008 at the same location on the following day, Friday 7th November. The successful implementation of Free Software requires an understanding of the best policy and processes applicable to its context. Shane will discuss how FSFE's legal project and its European Legal Network have engaged with this issue by producing generic market knowledge for supply and purchasing contracts, work flow documents and deployment methodology. The location for both conferences is Hotel en Congrescentrum De Reehorst, Ede, Netherlands.
